How can i read date variable having different lengths
Like 1/01/1991
01/02/1992
02/03/ 1995
8/08/2000
I have tried anydtdte. Bt it only reads the one having single digit for day . If i use mmddyy10. then it will reads only the one having 2 digits for day.
Someone please help.

  infile datalines truncover;
  input dates :mmddyy10.;
  format dates date9.;
  datalines;
1/01/1991
01/02/1992
02/03/1995
8/08/2000
;
run;

proc print data=have;
run;
