Is it possible to create a stored process that I can call from SAS Add-ins for Microsoft Office that will read a Excel 2007 that I have edited and write out a dataset to our database in a UNIX environment.  We do not have SAS Access to PC Files or SAS/Connect.  I am currently doing this process manually from Enterprise Guide but the user does not want his staff using EG, and wants them to basically 'push a button' in Excel to move the data to UNIX.  If it is possible, I would appreciate any input.

Oh, sorry.  And let me add that he doesn't want the users manually uploading the data themselves.
