please i need to get access to the raw data asap. Thanks!
Hi:
You posted your new message in a forum thread from 2016. I almost missed it. With postings this old, it is better for you to start a new thread and then refer back to this older thread.
Assuming you have the newest Prep Guide, you can go here, to the Bookstore site for the book, here:
https://www.sas.com/store/prodBK_72102_en.html?storeCode=SAS_US
and then scroll down on the page until you see the link for the Code and Data, as shown below:
This is for the new Base Specialist Prep Guide link.
Hope this helps,
Cynthia

Hi,
Can anyone please provide me raw data with some practice scenario? I have been stuyding SAS since few months but have been able to develop theoratical knowledge therefore need to have hands-on experience to excel in this technology.
I am really keen to develop my career in this line as it seems quite interesting and challenging to me.
Thanks!
where i find raw xls/any data for practise?
Hi:
If you are using the free Programming 1 course, please look in the Course Overview and Data Setup section of the course, as shown here:
You need to pick your method of using SAS. The instructions have a program that you MUST run in order to make the datasets used in Programming 1. In the screen shot above, I have selected the Setup for SAS Studio topic. Next you would click "Open Instructions" to see the instructions in a popup window. You must complete ALL the steps in ALL the tasks for your particular method in order to make the data for Programming 1.
If you prefer not to use Programming 1, then you will need to find your own data to practice with. There are always the SASHELP datasets and if you search the Community Forum, I know there have been postings about data that is accessible for downloading related to various studies and where the data is open for use.
Hope this helps you get started.
