Fiscal_Period_Year = put(trim(left(Fiscal_Year)) || trim(left(put(Fiscal_Period, Fiscal_Period_Format.))));

 

Any idea why in a data step Fiscal_Period_Year is not saving as a number?  I’m running into a scenario where it is saving as a giant string.
