Anyone knows why would it be grayed out, and how to enable it?

any help would be appreciated it.

Hi @spastranas,

 

This looks like SAS Enterprise Guide. The menu item in question is grayed out if no Enhanced Editor window has been opened or if a different type of window such as the Results window with HTML content is active.

 

So, just bring the Enhanced Editor window to the foreground or, if none is open, select "New Program" or select "Open Program" and open an arbitrary program.
