Can you please say what does option value 'xn' mean?
Here it is the proc means:
PROC MEANS DATA = F1 NOPRINT;
CLASS COL0 COL1 COL2;
VAR D ;
OUTPUT OUT = F_MEANS N=XN;
RUN;
N= is the option meaning the count or frequency. XN is the name of the variable you are storing the value of N=.
N= is the option meaning the count or frequency. XN is the name of the variable you are storing the value of N=.
XN is the name of the variable created by PROC MEANS that contains the count (because it is create by N=) of non-missing values of variable D
