please look at the program in following, i want to do ratio for each observation but when I run the program I found it only give me one ratio for the invoice / msrp, (ratio = invoice.mean/ msrp.mean;) and if i use (ratio = invoice/ msrp); it's error "invoice and msrp not initialized !' someone can help?

proc report data=sashelp.cars;
columns make invoice msrp ratio;
define make / display "MAKE" width=10;
define invoice / analysis mean "Invoice" format=8.1;;
define msrp / analysis mean "MSRP" format=8.1;
define ratio / computed format=8.1;
compute ratio;
ratio = invoice.mean/ msrp.mean;
endcomp;
rbreak after / summarize dol dul;

run;

But if you change the format for ratio to, say, 8.5, you'll see that they aren't the same. Isn't that what you want?
