Proc Print Error

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone can help me with a proc print issue.

I run the code and this error message appears, " An excpetion was thrown while sending a packet to the peer."

I am in the SAS University edition.

It's difficult to say - does it happen when you run a simple data step or any other code?

this is the code i used----

libname IPUMS '/folders/myfolders';
proc import datafile='/folders/myfolders/sasuser.v94/sasdata/ipumsdata.csv'
out=ipums.ipums
DBMS=csv replace;
run;

proc print data=ipums.ipums;
run;

Posting full log can help. Are you using a local installation of SAS UE?

I imported a csv file and created my own library, could it be because the file is too large? and yes local

How big is the file?

12.4 MB (13,079,103 bytes)

That is a rather large file for a Price Print - my guess is SAS is running out of resources attempting it....
