Is there a way to keep only the corr result?
proc corr data=Table1 outp = Table2 noprint;
var Item1;
with Item2;
by Item3;
run;
This gives an output of the mean, std, N, and Corr. Is there a way to eliminate all but the Corr result inside the proc corr step itself?
I've been having to do a proc sql step to select only the corr result.
NoPrint suppress the displayed output so I'm assuming you're referring to the OUTP table? You can add a filter to the output data set directly in the proc.
proc corr data=Table1 outp = Table2 (WHERE = (INSERT FILTER CONDITION)) noprint;
var Item1;
with Item2;
by Item3;
