Use Sashelp.class

Pick observations that are 5,1,17,15,12 in the mentioned order (that order only not in ascending and descending) .

As @Kurt_Bremser suggested, something like this:

data want;
  do p=5,1,17,15,12;
    set sashelp.class point=p;
    output;
    end;
stop;
run;
