Hi Everyone, hope this message finds you pretty well.
I have never taken a SAS certification exam, and I want to take the A00-232 Advanced Programming, so I have doubts if I could do so without have taken any of the basics certifications.
Do I have to take a basic SAS Certification before taking the A00-232 Advanced? Is there a path-way to achieve this A00-232 Certification? Is there prerequisite certification?
You have to take the base exam before you take the advanced exam.
They cover a very different series of topics though, but I'd say it's very unlikely you would base the advanced without being also being able to pass the basic exam.

Hi, I received a private message from a SAS Employee notifying me that I need to take the Specialist before the advanced, so I see in the Certification details that It is required to hold a base or specialist certification before taking the advanced.
Thanks so much.
