Hi everyone,

I used PROC TRAJ to perform GBTM analyses. Everything worked perfectly, except that I can't figure out which participants are in which group/trajectory. I need to know this information in order to do group comparisons (i.e., figure out sex differences among the groups for instance).

I know it's definitely possible, but I can't find the information anywhere. How do I know who are my participants in each group?

Thank you for anyone who can help me figure this out!

I suspect you are unlikely to get many responses as PROC TRAJ is a third party SAS procedure, not supported by SAS. Have you tried contacting the original author?

This paper may help.

Hi,

This may be coming late, but could be of help to someone else with same challenge.

To know which person belongs to which group, all you have to do is go back to the out (OF) data that was created by the procedure. You will find it in the 'Work' folder.

The first column will be the client unique number, while the last column will be the group assignment. With the two columns, you will be able to tell who belongs to which group and do all other analysis with it.

Hope this helps!

Bon
