From Windows XP Professional Version 2002 SP3, I am getting the error mentioned in my subject line in both the following versions of SAS:

  • (E9BX04) SAS 9.1.3 SP 4
  • 9.3 (TS1M1)

The SAS 9.13 fix is located at http://support.sas.com/kb/14/275.html.  As the fix suggests, these ERROR: messages didn't exist in 8.2.

The code works, but creates quite a few ERROR: messages to the log.  

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

From your ERROR message, SAS can't find some variables in your dataset . Are you sure they are in there.
