I have a spatial data to analyze with SAR modelling using PROC SPATIALREG. However it's only available in SAS 9.4M4 whereas my current version is SAS 9.4TS level 1M3.

Is there any way around this problem? Ways to upgrade to SAS 9.4M4 without investing a fortune? SAS University Edition has it?

Upgrades are usually included with your SAS license unless you're in a very unusual contract.

Getting your work to upgrade may be a different story.

PROC SPATIALREG is available in SAS UE, just ran the demo code without issue.

If you need to import a SHP file though that's under SAS/GRAPH and that is not included in SAS UE, but you may have that with your local installation.

Thanks Reeza. I will then install 4-step University Edition from the link, here, right? https://www.sas.com/en_us/software/university-edition/download-software.html#windows Thanks for running demo for me. Now I know it's worth installing free University Edition online.
