Hi,

I have a very huge dataset ( 2500000) observations and 7 variables. It is in a CSV form and I was not able to open the data in EXCEL ( the dataset is bigger than alloed rows in excel). I imported the data into SAS and wanted to see and scroll the data in SAS in a table format. However PROC PRINT is malfunctioning because of the data rows being a lot, any suggestions on how to handle this and be able to see all rows of the data?

Thanks,

Don't do that.  You already have the data in a file if you started with a CSV file.

If you want to scroll through the data use a viewer.

What interface are you using to run SAS?

If you are using SAS/Studio then it will by default open a view of the data when you run the data step that reads in the CSV file.

If you are using SAS Display Manager then use VIEWTABLE to browse the dataset.
