PROC METALIB STATEMENT

Hi All,

It's my first time using proc metalib statement and I just want to know what is the behavior of the code below ;

proc metalib;

omr (library="/SAS/SASVisualAnalytics/LASR" ); update_rule=(delete);

select (AB18_AddressLog);

report;

run;

Is it just deletes the AB18_AddressLog metadata under the Directory?

Hi Albert0

As far as I know the table's metadata entry is deleted if the corresponding physical table is NOT found. If the table exists, the medata entry for the table's columns are updated to be in sync with the actual physical columns.
