Hi ,

I am trying to import a file and it throws an error.

Could you help me figure out the mistake?

proc import datafile="C:\Data\Projects\Jun_2015\SNF1 placement detail.xlsx"
20   out=SNF_data
21   dbms=excel replace;

ERROR: Connect: Class not registered
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.

Not sure why you are getting the error, but try changing the DBMS option to XLSX and avoid any attempt to use microsoft products to read the file.

I changed it to XLSX and it worked.
