I already have program to download file from sftp server and import it into SAS dataset. My problem is, if I import Excel file that doesn't have security classification, it will show "no sheet available" from that Excel file. I only use the PROC IMPORT command.
But when I download the file to my pc and open it, there is few sheet inside that Excel file. I have to save the file again, upload back SAS server and rerun the program, and this time SAS able to import the sheet.
Is there any coding I can add for me to import without need to open and save the file manually?
If your organization has set in place a regulations that requires a security classification (and that is stopping your import), you should direct a requirement to the supplier of the Excel files to have this classification set for all files.
