Hello all,

I use below code run on my own computer environment. And it's work.

proc format ;
value $xfmt
'Miss1' = 'A0'x||'A0'x||'A0'x
'Miss2' = 'A0'x||'A0'x
'Miss3' = 'A0'x
;
run;

but when i change to run on server - i have gotten this error.
eventhrouh i add option encoding='utf-16';

Any solution for this issue?

That is because your local sas has different encoding with sas at UNIX side.
Change your sas encoding in SASv9.CFG or SASENV_LOCAL . not at system option.
