Hey,
I am currently in the process of studying for the SAS Base Programming Certification. However, as they now have the NEW! Certified Specialist Exam (to replace the traditional multiple choice format), I am unsure which version to take.
Has anyone taken the new base exam? Would you be willing to share your experience of it? Did you feel it was better to use physical SAS versus multiple choice format?
Thanks! 🙂
Megan
Hi Megan,
I am preparing for the new format exam too, can you please share if you were able to find any details about the type of questions asked, preparation for it ? etc.
Hi:
Here is the detailed content guide for the new Base Specialist exam: https://www.sas.com/content/dam/SAS/documents/technical/training/en/sample-questions-base-programmin... and here is the web site with the information: https://www.sas.com/en_us/certification/credentials/foundation-tools/base-programming-specialist.htm...
The preparation for this exam is still the Programming 1 and Programming 2 courses. And, there's also a Prep Guide for the new exam. If you go to the main web site for the exam and scroll down to Preparation, you'll find all the information including links and sample questions.
