Dear SAS community,

 

I need a help regarding multiplication of more than 100 columns, all columns have name starting with pos_. I want to multiply all these columns with two other columns. I've tried this.

data want;
set have;
pos:=faktor*kurs*pos:;
run;

It want work. Any suggestion?

You could use an ARRAY

 

data want;
    set have;
    array p(*) pos:;
    do i=1 to dim(p);
        p(i)=faktor*kurs*p(i);
    end;
    drop i;
run;

    do i=1 to dim(p);
        p(i)=faktor*kurs*p(i);
    end;
    drop i;
