Merging observations under one variable name

Hi All,

I have the following data set where I want to bring all variables under one new variable. can someone please tell me how do i do that. Thanks.

ID    Summer   Fall            Spring

101 Math         

101                  English

101                                   Physics

Expected Output:

ID    Summer   Fall            Spring    All_Courses

101 Math                                         Math         

101                  English                    English

101                                   Physics   Physics

Use the COALESCEC() funtion.

All_Courses = cats(Summer, Fall, Spring);

This looks like some made up sample data. What is the underlying requirement?

From a data perspective, I would rather see the following outcome (after transposing):

ID    Term       Course

101 Summer   Math         

101 Spring      English

101 Fall          Physics
