Hi everyone! I'm still learning SAS programming. For my current study, I would like to draw a sample of 500 subjects from my original dataset consisting of 1000 subjects, 100 times and run a linear regression. How do I do that using macro? I would appreciate any suggestions/ideas.

Thank you,

Joacy

You shouldn't use a macro.

See the paper (below) by David Cassell called Don't be loopy. It shows exactly how these types of simulations can be calculated using PROC SURVEYSELECT and standard SAS procedures.

But regardless, first start out with a single iteration that works and then you turn it into a macro or a looped process of some kind.
