I want to run a series of logistic regressions(one predictor at a time). I want to do this using macro, but I have both continuous and categorical predictors in my dataset. Doing it manually, I would specify my categorical variable in the class statement. However, I don't know how to include a class statement in the macro.
Partial dataset
Pass Score Absent Tardy
0 65 0 1
1 100 1 0
0 43 1 0
0 68 1 1
Current code
%macro regression(var);
proc logistic data=data DESCENDING;
model pass = &var;
run;
%mend;
No macro needed, really.

Scroll down to the section entitled "The BY way for many models". Use this method on the continuous variables. Then modify the code and use it on the categorical variables.
