Hi,

    I want to connect with the MYSQL database from SAS Studio. I got the following Libname option:

libname mysqllib mysql user=myusr1 password=mypwd1 database=mysqldb server=mysrv1 port=9876;

at the SAS documentation but I need some other way to connect so I can avoid these passwords and other credentials to show in SAS code.
Let me know if there is a way to do this in Base SAS Studio.

Yes I did read this blog. and currently checking for the AUTHDOMAIN= SAS/ACCESS option in SAS. But I'm not able to clearly understand How AUTHDOMAIN= works.
Can you give me a brief summary of how AUTHDOMAIN= works ?

Thanks.
