Insufficient authorization to access

Hi,

We have a common folder there we use datasets in our SAS program(a group of users, not all).

In one of SAS program a text file is created and when we try to transfer it getting this error:

ERROR: Insufficient authorization to access /opt/sas94/config/Lev1/SASApp/ABCD.txt

What is the problem?

I would hazard a guess that the SAS program has

Insufficient authorization to access

 Not sure what else there is to say.  Make sure you (and the SAS system) have access.  You haven't even mentioned which tool you are using, is this University Edition (may be from the path).  Is it installed on a server?

It is SAS EGuide and using via Citrix Desktop.

You think it is a permission issue on the common folder(program is under the common folder where the datasets are)? Am I understood correctly?

Yes, its most likely a permission issue, the SAS system from where it is running needs access to the given folder.  There are other possibilities, bu that would be my first guess.  Check with your IT, they should be able to check quickly.

Either you don't have the correct access set up or you made a mistake in your code. 

If you post the code that may be helpful. But does that path look correct to you? Is that where you expected to find/create your file?
