Hi to all!!

I need to make an Infile of file txt with delimiter ; .

But when I make the Infile, the SAS programm saves in dataset only half of file dimension.

for examples, if the file has 1388 records, the sas programs reads 1388 records but it saves in dataset only 694 records, and it reads the first records, the third record, the fift record....

jumping the second record, fourth record...... and so on

the lrecl change in any records, and the max lrecl is 340.

Anybody know why it has this behavior?

Hi,

If you can post some sample data.it would help.

Try with this options DSD DLM=';'   lrecl=32767

and also look at  other infile options.

Thanks,

Shiva
