I have a file called ref.ctl which is in a couple of subfolders. When I look at properties for the file I get the path listed below. However when I run the code I get an error notice that the physical file does not exist. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
data _null_ ;
infile 'home/jacksonan19450/AptensioAdultboot/BOOTSTRAPAPTENSIO_ADULT/CONTROLPREP/REF.CTL' termstr=CRLF truncover;
/* INPUT CHARACTER FILE*/
input c $1000.;
I doubt that the GUI would display a RELATIVE path like you used in the INFILE statement.
It will normally display an ABSOLUTE path that starts from the root node, / .
Try including the leading / in the path.
infile '/home/jacksonan19450/AptensioAdultboot/BOOTSTRAPAPTENSIO_ADULT/CONTROLPREP/REF.CTL' termstr=CRLF truncover;
