Hello

I want to import rep file (ascii file) via file - import data. The options I get for the different kind of files are as mentioned in the attached file. Is it possible to import rep file with these possibilities OR to use the other option which is called "User defined format"?CHOOSE REP.png

When I am choosing the option User defined format, I got the attached windowREP2.png

Does this window allow me to choose part of the data, as I do not need the whole file?

Thanks for any clue....

Don't know what a "rep" file is, but if it is text, inspect it with a text editor so you can get a clue about the structure and write a proper data step.

If you have trouble with writing the data step, provide some sample data lines so we can help you you.
