I have a dataset concat having a variable a b & c. How to rename a b to e & f?

Just made some data up. You can do like this with Proc Datasets.

 

data concat;
   a=1;b=1;c=1;
run;

proc datasets lib=work nolist;
   modify concat;
      rename a=e b=f;
run;quit;

  1. data concat(rename=(a=e b=f));
  2. set concat;
  3. run;
