Dear SAS Community,
I'm trying to write a macro to output odds ratio's and confidence intervals and I wonder if anyone could please help me. My goal is to estimate independent associations between 20 different exposures and risk of disease. I'd like to generate output datasets that I can export to Excel. My basic model program looks something like this:
proc logistic data = test;
class exposure(ref="0")/param=ref;
model caco (event="1")= exposure /clodds=wald; *Caco: 1= case, 2=control;
ods output CLOddsWald= odds_number;
run;
I'd like my macro to call up the exposures so that I don't have to re-write the proc steps 20 times (where exposure=1-20; odds_number=1-20). The tricky part seems to be the output datasets- I tried a macro to call the exposures but the results for exposure2 wrote over the results for exposure1. Can anyone please suggest macro code that will allow me to generate 20 odds ratio output datsets using 1 proc logistic statement? Thank you very much.

Thank you. I found this link to be especially helpful for testing multiple independent variables.
