i am a computer engineering student and i wanted to get myself certified in SAS. But i don't know where to start, How to start. what is best for me at this time? please guide me.

Well you can get the University Edition of SAS, that is a free, limited version of SAS to practice with.  Next you will want to have a look at the free training which SAS provides: SAS Tutorials | SAS Training

Maybe try out some of the paid ones.  Then maybe also buy a book, several of the around, and practice lots.  Once your comfortable take the exam.
