How to show ± in pdf

Dear all,

When I import data from excel and one word in the excel was symbol ±.
After I used proc report the symbol turned to a weird symbol in pdf like this: ¡Ó

How can I fix this?

Maybe you need change your SAS session's encoding into UTF-8 to correctly import that character.

Hi, try ods escapechar='^'; after your ods pdf...statement;
