How to send mail to more than 50 users at a time?

I am trying to send a mail with 50 mail-ids in "To" and 50 mail-id's in "Cc".  But I am getting an error which says the length of mails-id's are more than 256 characters.

Is there a way to resolve this?

A simple way (and better from a management point of view) is to create a mailing list at the mail server, and refer to that instead.

The only way I have over come this is to put the email in a macro and send to the list one at a time. I believe I had to put some wait time in between the mailings so that mail servers did not mark them as spam.
