How to restore/retrieve passwords for sas default users

Hi All,

Kindly let me know, How to restrore/ retrieve passwords for SAS default users like : SASADM, SASTRUST,SASGUEST,SASDIUSR.....

The intention is not having / needing passwords for them. Common security guidelines are that a mandatory change policy is implemented.

There are tools to achieve that ... runas sudo surrogate

Hi,

Done with job.

"the client and the metadata server must be in the same windows domain or in domains that trust each other"

and "windows login password and domain password must be same for initial stage"
