How to remove the entire row from SAS dataset?

Hi all:

My data starts at 2nd row.  Therefore, I use firstobs option in data step.  However, I found the row are still there.  How to remove it?  Thanks.

data EducationCA2009;

set EducationCA2009 (FIRSTOBS=2);

run;

[Kurt_Bremser]

- post the log

- count the number of rows before and after the step
