Using Proc IMPORT to readin huge CSV files with lots of columns.
Say the CSV file has 100 columns and ONLY like to readin the first 90 columns, how to do it?!
Here is DATAROW option... but no DATACOLUMN option, or right?!
Do NOT use PROC IMPORT for csv files. Write the DATA step yourself, and you get full control.
You can take the DATA step that PROC IMPORT writes to the log as a starting point. During the adaptation, weed out all the unnecessary stuff that IMPORT does, and make the code readable.
