How to read JSON formatted data from csv file

I have a CSV file with JSON data rows. How do I read the JSON in a data step infile statement without using proc JSON or proc http. Please help.

Without a sample of the data you are trying to read, I am not sure if this will work for you. But I found this message thread that may help you.
