How to provide more than 10 Footnotes for Graphs.

I am trying to create more than 10 footnotes in an ods excel using proc report. I used the code below which worked the first time, but now the footnotes will no longer print in excel, but but do appear in the sas output.

ods escapechar='~';

FOOTNOTE ' aaaaaaa ~n bbbbbbb ~n cccccccc ~n dddddddddd';

You can use ODS TEXT, or PROC ODSTEXT instead of FOOTNOTE. From the documentation SAS supports footnote1-footnote10.
