Hi all, facing problem regarding the proc format, is there a way to let other datas (remaning data) set as 7, maybe like else statement?

This is because there are too many datas will belong to 7 and it is not possible for me to list all of them as 1 to 6

All of these data are from a column call risktype

My code is below:

PROC FORMAT;

value $ risktyp

'FHO'='1'

'FHW'='1'

'FHZ'='1'

'FHH'='2'

'FHI'='2'

'FHY'='2'

'FDP'='3'

'FFZ'='3'

'FHX'='3'

'FMD'='3'

'FMP'='3'

'FCL'='4'

'FCZ'='4'

'FLP'='4'

'FAZ'='6'

'FDA'='6'

'FIA'='6'

;

RUN;
