I have a list of maybe a couple thousand customers. Some of them contain upside down question marks in their name. How would I identify these accounts?
data test; set test; if find(name,'Upside Down Question Mark') ge 1;
run;
I assume I would use that, but I have no idea how to put an upside down question mark in the quotes.
If you open a SAS data set and copy the character from one of the variables try pasting that into the code.
No guarantee but I have had this work a few times for some encodings and has the advantage of being relatively easy if it works.
data want;
char="fsdfdgbv¿42553";
position=find(char,"¿");
run;
