You have to be specific about how you are using SAS Studio. There are 3 ways:
1) SAS Studio with SAS University Edition in a Virtual Machine;
2) SAS Studio with SAS University Edition on the Amazon AWS;
3) SAS Studio with SAS OnDemand for Academics on the SAS Cloud.

Each method of using SAS Studio has a way for you to define a permanent folder and when you right click on the folder name, after you create it, you should be able to choose Upload File to do what you want.

Without more specific information about how you are using SAS Studio, it is hard to make more concrete suggestions.

If its SAS UE, find the SAS Analytics FAQs - they have detailed instructions on how to use your own data.

Here's a library of SAS Studio videos. The section about accessing data has a few video about reading CSV files.

Hope this helps!

Does the content of the CSV file change? If not, then once it is in a permanent library there is no need to upload it, reference the set in the library.

If the CSV file name or location change? If not then you might want to see if you can create a VIEW to read the data in place as needed.
