Dear friends,
I have succeeded to replace all Inf (infinite) in my dataset with the letter "I" in SAS EG using the function DIVIDE().
Now I wonder how I can replace the letter "I" with the number 0?
Best regards

If your values were created using the DIVIDE() function then they are numbers not character strings so they do not contain the letter I. Instead they are equal to the special missing value of .I.
Why do you want to replace a missing value with zero?
Why did you bother to generate the special missing values of .I if you where just going to replace them with zero?
