I currently download data from the company database into excel, which I then upload into SAS. However to bypass the excel step I am looking to connect SAS straight to our Oracle Database. I have requested and granted oracle access with a username and passowrd. I know the schema and environment. Hoping someone has insight on how to write the code to pull in the desired data.

You need a licence and install SAS/ACCESS to Oracle or ODBC.
If you have that already follow the instruction in the corresponding documentation.
