I can access this stored process on our server:

Sample: Hello World
DATA Step−generated output using PUT statements.

I presume this comes with the default SAS implementation. Is anyone aware of a tutorial which describe the underlying source code of this stored procedure? I would like to replicate this stored process. Any pointers would be very much appreciated. Many thanks!

Have you looked at the source code? The metadata should reveal where the code is stored - can't look right now. What needs to be explained?
