During a couple of the sessions, we discussed the many opportunities that exist (known as well as still to be discovered) for using sophisticated optimization algorithms for solving problems in non-OR analytical areas. One such application was mentioned in the area of Binning for Credit Scoring. Attached is a SAS Global Forum Paper on the topic.
