Hi SAS users,

 

 

i need some help in going to last  word which is after  last slash (/) and get word  "file" ( scan and find the first word after first underscore(_)

currently i am printing all words. 

 

%let filenm=/path1/div1/test1/list1/file_client_case1;



data run_type;
length type $30;
do i=1 to countw("&filenm.","/");
type=scan("&filenm.",i,"/");
output;
end;
run;
