File SaveAs with appended date stamp

With SAS 9.3 run interactively in a Windows 7 environment, I'd like to be able to automatically preserve previous versions of code by appending the filename with the system date (e.g., mycode_Friday, July 26, 2013.sas) when SaveAs is selected from the File menu. Any suggestions deeply appreciated.
