Hi,
I have been facing error while executing a test query in SAS for Hadoop. PFB query and error.
proc sql;
connect to hadoop as hd
(server='server-name' user=username password='********' schema='schema-name' subprotocol=hive2 connection=global)
create table work.test as
select * from connection to hd(
select * from schema-name.table_name);
disconnect from hd;
quit;
ERROR: Unable to read from pipe: Success
ERROR: Fetch error.
Can someone please let me know how to resolve above error?
What do you get when you run
proc contents data=HD.table_name;
run;
?
Hi Chris,
The proc contents ran successfully and I got the details of the tables and alphabetic list of variables and attributes.
Thanks,
Shubham Jain
That's odd.
Please show us the log when running:
proc sql;
connect using hd;
create table work.test as
select * from connection to hd(
select * from schema-name.table_name);
disconnect from hd;
quit;
proc sql;
select * from hd.table_name;
quit;
