Extract the number of Tabs and their Names from spreadsheets

Hello experts,
I am working on a project where I need to find

1. Spreadsheet names ( I have done that)

2. Names of the tabs in each spreadsheet

3.Count of number of tabs in each spread sheet

from  a folder containing numerous spreadsheets(Xls files).

I am struggling on second step, if you have any resources or advice, please share with me.

Hi,

Set a libname to the Excel file:

libname myexcel excel "xxx.xlsx";

Then you can access sashelp.vtable to see what tabs are within.

Make sure you libname myexcel clear; afterwards.
